Helen graduated from Lamda in 2007. She went directly to Salisbury playhouse to appear as Eleanor Tilney in Tim Luscombe’s adaptation of Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey. She played Raoule de Venerande in a new version of Monsieur Venus premiered at The Theatre Royal Haymarket as part of the Masterclass series. She was cast by Timothy West as Mrs. Riot in his production of David Garrick’s Lethe. She then returned to Salisbury Playhouse to play Alice Keach in Philip Wilson’s new adaptation of the novel A Month In The Country by J.L.Carr, for which she was David Benedict’s nomination for Best Newcomer for the Critics’ Circle Awards 2009. She played Persephone in Airswimming by Charlotte Jones at The Courtyard Theatre Studio, London.
