Spoken Ink is the only site on the internet devoted to short audio. We've got the best in short stories, poems and non-fiction, excellent readers and world-class authors. We publish short audio ourselves and also for many major publishers including Audio Go and Naxos.

Unlike a full-length audiobook, our audio shorts are designed to fit neatly into busy lives. Our maximum audio is two hours long - perfect for a jog, the ironing or a trip to work.

   Make a one-off purchase, buy credit or purchase an audio short for a friend.
3. Download
   Our stories are in MP3 format and are playable on EVERY music device, including mobile phones. When you have downloaded a story, just click on the MP3 file and it will play in your preferred player (usually iTunes or Windows Media Player).
