Emily Dickinson was a prolific and extremely private American poet. She published fewer than a dozen poems whilst she was alive but wrote more than eighteen hundreds and is now regarded as one of the great American poets. This collection features her best-known poems: There's a certain Slant of light, I felt a Funeral, in my Brain, A Bird came down the Walk, After great pain, a formal feeling comes, I heard a Fly buzz - when I died, Going to Him! Happy letter!, This World is not Conclusion, It was not Death, for I stood up, One need not be a Chamber - to be Haunted, Because I could not stop for Death, Behind Me - dips Eternity, My Life had stood - a Loaded Gun, A narrow Fellow in the Grass, The last Night that She lived, What mystery pervades a well!
