Lol and Edna Pearce scrape a living from the sea’s secret bounty. One day they save a young man from drowning. But the brute is ungrateful and the sisters have to punish him. In fact they have to punish rather a lot of people. A creepy tale from an author who is surely the new Roald Dahl.
